May want to visit the official ARK forums at SurviveTheARK. that sounds more like a game bug. Unless you added your own code.
I played that map way back before it was a DLC and it has low spawns. But now it should be better. I have dinos in all biomes and I am PC.
Maybe try a dinowipe and see what happens.
Confirm if you are using Primitive. if you are, that's your issue there. All updates break prim. more than likely it s the winter event causing it.
i am having the same issue, dinos only in desert. i am on prim+ why does it break prim so much? i tried wiping the dinos and no luck.
Primitive Plus is generaly not advised to use, as it's full of bugs including gamebreaking ones, unless they finally started fixing them, it never ran optimal, and always was buggy.
I'm using Primitive+ on the Crystal Isles, and the dinosaurs are not spawning. The game stats say that the dinos are in "stasis", which apparently means that they do not appear until players are within spawn range, but me and my friend have flown around the entire map, and we cannot find any dinosaur that spawns naturally. I've tried messing with settings, forcing a respawn, and restarting the server. Nothing has worked. I've been on a server that had Primitive+, and the dinos spawned just fine (but that was about half a year ago). I really hope I don't have to reset the server and redo all the building I did.
