ARK DLC: Lost Island- updates,restarting.

Dear forum members,
for some time now we have been creating and maintaining new ways to help game server admins with questions and problems as quickly as possible, e.g. our Guides section and the Nitrado Community Discord.

Therefore, we inform you that the Nitrado Forum will be closed on March 31, 2023. We are consolidating our community support to our Discord channel, which is faster and more efficient. We have also seen incredible growth in our community due to the hard work of our moderators and our bots.   • I also purchased a new server today and I am also stuck in the restart loop of death... I have been trying to call the helpdesk skype number is this no longer active as I have had no luck?!

    No its not you, its an issue they are having with the Lost Island map. They are working on it but I dont think there is an eta for a fix yet.

  • Steam Ark states patch 341.20 and my Nitrado account shows 341.19. So I thought this was already fixed. It's been around 15 hours now and no update to patch. I know this is the problem. I did your job now please fix this thanks.

    A post from a mod earlier stated that they encountered another issue after releasing the update. Last I knew they were still working on the new issue but did not have an ETA

  • the restarting seems to have stopped (for now). my web interface says my server is started, i have made sure to check "show password protected" and i have crossplay enabled in my settings, but i dont see my server at the ark menu. not sure what to do.

    The problem that ARK Xbox servers would not start no longer exists.


    All affected Xbox servers have just been started and are already back online.

    If you are still having issues, some basic things to do:

    (1) Restart the server. If is hangs, about 5-10m a button appears to forcestop, then restart.

    (2) Check out the server logs. If you see crashstack, that more likely is a corrupted gamefile. It happens with ARK. Sadly the resolution is to rollback to the last known saved file. And no way knowing which one is bad. Some folks that do not feel comfortable trying this- you can contact Support.

    (3) If this is a new server, try a reinstall. *note: sometimes this happens after a game update. Wildcard suggests to do a recovery backup.

    (4) If all the above fails, please contact Nitrado Support to further investigate. If you already have please continue to be patient. We are unable to assist you here in the forums.

    Moderators have no access to servers or accounts. We are volunteers and able to share experiences just like the rest as this is a Community Support Forum for Gamers and Admins just like you and I.
