How to run version 41.6 on project zomboid

    PZ just released a new multiplayer beta. It's basically an entirely new game and the old version is redundant. U


    How can I run the multiplayer beta version 41.6 in project zomboid?

    Project zomboid is about to get a tonne of multiplayer servers, it has over 40 000 reviews on steam, I hope Nitrado provides more configuration to corner this market.


    edit: seems the game is on version 40.43 or something like that. no option to change the version.

    I'm indeed also stuck with a useless server from a ancient version of project zomboid :(

    I kinda figured they'd have the new offical MP branch available of version 41.

    Hope they move fast as other providers already offer the proper branch version of Zomboid.. but i already paid for the server so -.- and Nitrado's done a stellar job previously... but this is a bit of a letdown that i still can't get the server uo and running as m'pales are all waiting on this.

    Lurkers (yes, you!), don't forget to comment and show your support for this requested feature, maybe it will speed things up.


    edit: doesn't seem like nitrado employees lurk this area of the forums. I'm busy today but maybe someone can open a support ticket under their server and link this thread?

    I would be happy to just get an ETA, something.. i know some of the big streamers want to use nitrado and is waiting too.
    I presume they'll try to get it up ASAP otherwise they'll lose some of the big content creators use and thus PR.

    I was going to just copy my game to the FTP but my internet is not good hence why i wanted to buy a server. The customer support was worthless and just submitted a different ticket, I would suggest calling and getting a refund until they fix it. Maybe that will speed them up.

    I bought 3 months ahead, for the new build, didn't stop to consider their just hosting the 2016 version of zomboid, not 2021 version of MP.

    Hopefully they'll be speeding up a deployment, several content creators are considering or planning to use nitrado, but if other hosts company come ahead before em.. i bet alot will choose differently.. so it comes down with a race for whom will be the provider for the content creator servers.

    Only thing i know is that the contenty creator "RoytalWithCheeseTV" on Twitch was promised it'd be up today... but so far i've seen no confirmation.. and their still waiting for it aswell.


    Some Competitors are already up and running with the branch... but i already paid for 3 months :(

    It's not a complicated issue to fix, they just seem to be slow. If i had known it was going to be this much of a hassle I would have rented an Amazon Cloud server.

    The woman on the phones exact words were "When a new update comes out it takes a few hours" which did not mean anything.

    Well, it came out yesterday, so "a few hours" is qute off.. but Nitrado usually don't support steam branches i believe, otherwise this would be a no-problem.. as it's not really a update to the main package thanks to how Indiestone does the update.


    They might be their having issues due to their general server issues that occured the last couple of days.. but it's a real shame if weekend becomes a bust and we gotta wait til monday.
