How to install mods directly from Steam Workshop?

Is there a way for me to install mods into my server directly from the Steam Workshop without having to update them manually every time using FTP? Otherwise, how do I upload my modlist into my server, just manually?

I am aware, but is there like an automated way to upload and verify the game mods without having to do it manually? Perhaps a batch file or script or something of the sort, or maybe something to do with the FTP program (I use WinSCP)

I think FTP'ing up the new version is as good as it gets. I realize it's both a blessing and a curse, but at least with the steam workshop everyone kinda gets on the same version relatively easily. This is kinda one of the reasons I minimize the number of mods I run.
