Editing freedom- init file

It looks like the devs wants to hide the init.c. Maybe you ask them here

I tried to negociate with nitrado. but the answer wasn't cordial

If the game makers wants to hide the file they cant do anything about it.

Access to Init.c on Console are restriction from Bohemia, Nitrado has no control to step over Manufacturer Guidelines

Full access to all the server files is needed. Regardless of if editing of the init.c could potentially cause issues with the server if done wrong, but the server owners pay for full access to allow for customization. If unrestricted access is allowed for pc and considering you need a pc to even edit the server, access should still be allowed.

they do not restrict access to the init.c file as it is possible to access it in the dayZ server files provided the server owner has root access. if i am mistaken i would like a link explaining this as i havent found anything Bohemia does to prevent access.

Customers do pay for renting a server and what features are available. Features are restricted in most cases by the Devs, and in some cases by the hosting providers.
