SCUM How do I get the new update of the game to push to my server?

Dear forum members,
for some time now we have been creating and maintaining new ways to help game server admins with questions and problems as quickly as possible, e.g. our Guides section and the Nitrado Community Discord.

  • I cant seem to find anything showing how to get the server to update. I have restarted it several times and the new update just doesnt seem to be going through. All the other updates have happened with no problems, but the update from today just doesnt want to go through. Anyone else having this issue or have insight on how to get it to work?

  • Doesn't seem to be anything we can do to force an update, Nitrado advise servers should update sometime between 3-4 hours after the steam update is released. None of the SCUM servers hosted by Nitrado have been available to play since yesterdays update (which was released at 3pm GMT). There seems to be a problem with it.


    So at the moment, you can't use your server, you can log in and play on other servers fine - just not the one you're paying for.

    And as to when it will be fixed - no idea, the same message has shown since yesterday:


    "Currently, the service status is displayed incorrectly. This causes a server to hang in the restart status, while it is already started and accessible in the game. We are already working on a solution and hope that this will be displayed correctly again soon."

  • Unfortunately, there's not much a user can do to push an update on their server, this is done from support. If you ever encounter yourself in this situation again, please contact them directly, they'll be able to provide you with a timeframe or fix any issues, if there's one.
