Modded server

Hello! So my friend recently set up a server with mods, we placed the mod IDs in the active mods list, and when we booted up the server, the ID's disappeared, do we have to paste the mods in everytime the server would reset?

Fixed! Forgot to save the mods :p

But we do have another question, its our first time with the modded server with about 11 mods, how long would it take for the server to boot up for the first time?
