Unable to Connect/See Server since update.

After the recent update here i restartet my server and now i cant find it under favorites ingame but i can in steam under view and then servers, but when i try to connect it says "Unable to query server info for invite"

Pls help me.

Same Problem, was about to start a thread about this. Has Nitrado pushed the update yet for summer bash?

It's problem with Nitrado server, again.

There is a new update version of ARK, but the server is not getting updated right away.

This already happened to me twice in this Month. So I wrote ticket about this matter, but still didn't get any answer from them..

I just logged in to my server less than an hour ago and got in just fine (the main menu screen was the usual vanilla one). Logged off, Ark started an update, main screen changed to the summer bash event, and now the server doesn't appear. My friends cannot find it either. The server is on Version 331.19, while the game is on Version 332.1.

Do I need to change something on the server after a game update to be able to play?

That's great and all, but when can we actually use our servers? Or is it the usual couple of hours wait?

Nope, you just have to wait now unfortunately. There is no way to force the update like other providers. Once my month is up I'm moving on to someone else.

The answer is always the same. They will update when they feel like it. It eventually gets corrected.

mines just started to update so hopefully should be on soon

Ive turned off automatic updates wherever I could find them, and yet 10 minutes ago my server shut down to automatically update during a period I only had a half hour to get on. And now it is stuck in a never ending restart. Where are all of the settings to shut off auto update to make sure this doesnt happen again? Since apparently I have missed one.

Already see all the threads about it, have been waiting for a good couple hours now. Any ETA on if this will be done tonight or if it will be done tomorrow? Thanks in advance, sorry for adding to the pile.

What's the ETA on this I have a notice that it needs to be updated. This is time I know you won't give back. So at least give me some kind of notice when it will be done. Not sure how some got the patch and others did not. is this isolated to specific host sites?

The server has been online for 2 days now and has worked fine for those days. But today when i searched for the server it simply isn't showing up. Me and a friend have both tried with different perimeters.

all of our servers are down cos they do something with all of our servers at once when there's an update.

it needs to tell us in the web interface that it's out of our control cos I'm not sure how many people are clueless (like I was!) and try and fix it themselves when there's nothing we can do

Try updating your game via microsoft store. (If you are on that platform.) you need to get updates from the downloads and updates screen and the it should give you a ca 7.5gb update for ARK.

My friend did this and he got onto the server in question.

Nice one I didn't know that ark itself needed an update; it's doing now.

Been using the steam version for years (since it came out). the more I use this windows 10 version the more I hate it. hopefully this is the last kind of its unusual behaviour!

2 of us were on it fine yesterday as we have been for the last 2 weeks or so, but today we try to go on and the server does not appear.

Since the update has been released will be closing this thread. Any new posts related to this is considered a duplicate post and more than likely those will be redirected or merged here.

The below helps for most of the following issues:

(Server restarting, Base missing, mods not working, Server stuck on reboot, see crashstack error just to name some)

If you are still having issues, some basic things to do:

(1) Restart the server. If is hangs, about 5-10m a button appears to forcestop, then restart.

(2) Check your filters in searching. Use unofficial and mark sure you have password filtered out if you are not using a password.

(3) Check out the server logs. If you see crashstack, that more likely is a corrupted gamefile. It happens with ARK. Sadly the resolution is to rollback to the last known saved file. And no way knowing which one is bad. Some folks that do not feel comfortable trying this- you can contact Support. They more than likely will suggest the same. OR have they might find something else.

(4) If this is a new server, try a reinstall.

(5) If all the above fails, please contact Nitrado Support to further investigate. If you already have please continue to be patient. We are unable to assist you here in the forums.
