Server crashstacks every 12 hours

for some time now we have been creating and maintaining new ways to help game server admins with questions and problems as quickly as possible, e.g. our Guides section and the Nitrado Community Discord.

    The Support can't do anything. I called them 6-7 Times in 3 Days nothing changes.

    Only a new Savegame solves the problem but after 12 hours it comes back.


    Pls help I just want to play with Friends but we dont feel like to play anymore because of that.

  • crashstack is a corrupted gamefile.

    the only way to fix those are either rolling back to a good file save or start over.

    If it is occurring as you said, then the file you are trying to restore from is a bad one. need to go back further.

    Support is correct. It is not a server hardware issue, rather game issue.

    It's been 5 days since I paid for a server and on none of those days I was able to play for more than 2 hours due to crashes, they already moved me from hardware and it didn't last even 10 minutes without crashing, I just wanted to play with some friends but it looks like it is impossible around here. if someone can help me i'm trying to play with these mods :591254305,839162288,761535755,1837445660.924933745,1404697612 epic level primal fear Awesome SpyGlass Death Inventory Keeper Ultra Stacks Dino tracker

  • If you are still having issues, some basic things to do:

    (1) Restart the server. If is hangs, about 5-10m a button appears to forcestop, then restart.

    (2) Check out the server logs. If you see crashstack, that more likely is a corrupted gamefile. It happens with ARK. Sadly the resolution is to rollback to the last known saved file. And no way knowing which one is bad. Some folks that do not feel comfortable trying this- you can contact Support. They more than likely will suggest the same. OR have they might find something else.

    (3) If this is a new server, try a reinstall.

    (4) If all the above fails, please contact Nitrado Support to further investigate. If you already have please continue to be patient. We are unable to assist you here in the forums.

    Moderators have no access to servers or accounts. We are volunteers and able to share experiences just like the rest as this is a Community Support Forum for Gamers and Admins just like you and I.

    *try running without mods and see if you experience a change. mods have been a problem since the modders are unable to update them until devkit is released. Its why most of us that have been around do not run mods on new DLCs at first. I normally run 20 mods but due to new DLC I can run about 5 with no issues.
