Could not retrieve address

hey, so for 4 days now I cant join any official server on xbox, constantly getting "could not retrieve address", I've tried everything, loaded up single player, cleared cache,reset xb,router,uninstalled and reinstalled my game 3 times but still dose not work, I have tried loading from a different accout too but again "could not retrieve address" I have submitted tickets to wildcard but no response, anyone have any way to help me please.

If you are unable to connect to any servers, then its either a client or internet issue.

With PC we would suggest reinstalling ARK. The game can get corrupted and needs to be replaced. Not sure how you can do that on console/client.

You can also check your router settings to make sure its not blocking aka port blocked.

I've reinstalled it 3 times didnt make a difference and all ports needed are open, no issues on xbox either, I thought maybe mac banned but made new account still could not retrieve address

I am not familiar with console details. Do you have a setting to enable battleeye? If so, disable, reboot, then try again.

If that is not available or you are still unable to connect please contact Nitrado Support to further investigate. Note that they may refer it back though as you are unable to connect to any server.

another idea and may be silly but I have tried this... If your cell has 'hotspot', try connecting to that as wifi and then try connecting to a server.

I would suggest submitting a support ticket. Most times with xbox I've realized the cannot retrieve address error is out of the user's hands. Explain to support the error you're getting and a machine change usually fixes the connection error.
