Getting instant disconnected when trying to connect.

Hi!

I just bought a valheim server and when I try to connect to the server i just get instant disconnected. I've tried adding the server to steam, direct connecting via the IP in game.

Does this happen to anyone else and have anyone got a fix for it?

There was a valheim update recently. Make sure your client and server are on the same version. (Server needs restart to update)

Also make sure you use the right port to connect (the port shown on dashboard +1, e.g. instead of 10090 you use 10091 when adding to server list) as mentioned here: https://wiki.nitrado.net/en/connecting_to_a_valheim_gameserver
