New character progression and items lost when login out

    I played trough the night and did a bunch of farming and building in the server. After many hours i logged out and when i came back the next day all the progress i made in those hours (skills, new items crafted) where lost, but the building and structures changes remained, as well as everything else that wasn.t in my inventory.

    Valheim is an early access game and things can break any time, including full loss of all your progress. I recommend you to do updates as often as possible.


    Your character data is stored locally on your computer.

    The world is stored on the server.


    Your local data can be found at: C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\


    Your server data can be found at: File Browser -> Valheim -> savedata


    I recommend you to do backups of both regularly.
