Mod on server

Valheim administration options; here: Fix for rubber-banding lag and mod support?

My renewal is coming up (as I am sure are many others') and I'd like to know where this is on the road map before I make a decision.

Mod is Live up to date 0.9.4

Hey guys, so yesterday I downloaded vortex then downloaded ValheimPlus. The installation went perfectly fine however when i went back onto nitrado, clicked on addons and then clicked on install nothing happened and the page reset itself. I've tried multiple times including; stopping the server, starting the server and even tried installing while the server is restarting.

I'm at a loss.

any help would be much apricated.

Having the same problem: can't install the add-on for the server

Once you click install - you need to select Config Files and click in the search box. The Valheim_plus.cfg should show u in the list. Then just select it and edit it to your preference....

when i click on add-ons and install.. choose latest or any version.. it starts installing then stops.. and remains saying "not installed".. the install seems to stop. No plus config file is available.

As already suggested, try a restart after starting the install, if this doesn't help, please contact the support.

i had same problem i restart server 2 or 3 times click "dashboard" and then back to addons and i have 0.9.4 version installed. but mods didnt work for me any idea?

I hade no problem installing it, but when i try to join the server it disconects and say "incompatible verision", i uninstalled the addon and now i can join again.....

You need Valheim Plus on your local client aswell.

Thanks for the comments above.. I just tried randomly clicking on install and then restarting two or three times and yes, automagically it has installed now. Kind of janky, but got there in the end.

how mods exactly works? can I use only the mods that Valheimplus contains (by editing valheim_plus.cfg) or can I add more mods to the BeplnEx / plugins folder? (* .dll files)

You actually need Valheim Plus ONLY on your local client, don't even need it on the server, unless, you plan to use the server side features, like increasing the amount of players on the server, etc. Things like day/night cycle, inventory and all the other settings that affect your character, for those you only need to have client based Valheim Plus. This is verified because that is how we played with my buddy. V+ was crashing the server, so we had to restore the server and only had V+ left client based, and the MOD worked on both his character and mine, while connected to our DEDI server, even though there was no V+ server side. The only thing is that you may to share the config file with your friends, who play on Dedi server with you, cause if you have different daynight cycle setting for example, there will be strange issues, like desync.

The latest version of V+ is available, but not on the installation menu. Possible to make it available ?

i was getting ready right about this myself, i hope nitrado can keep this up to date relatively quickly we might be being a bit quick as it was released today, but ive tried a server shutdown and reinstall on Valheim+ on Latest but that still sits at 0.9.4

I am trying manually to install it to see if it's work.

No, it's still the 0.9.4 active ... lots of good feature are on the 0.9.5
