i connect to valheim in steam server than after i make my character it asks me for another password in valheim and ive tried every password possible and it says worng password?

i am having the same issue here. though i am typing exactly what is in the server password field. i changed it earlier today.

I am having this same issue as well. Even when defaulting to the default server settings it would not allow any of us 4 to connect.
I have also tired manually updating the config file... very frustrating -
i've also restarted the server several times to no avail. i would like to know why this is an issue.

I have noticed this file "Valheim > start_server.sh" is not updating line 10: (./valheim_server.x86_64 -name "My server" -port 2456 -world "Dedicated" -password "secret") to my selected world or password. I have also not titled my server "My server". When I stop the server, manually edit it, then start the server it deletes my changes...

Yeah me too, I kinda expected it to work like any other provider. It's really irritating me that I haven't gotten any support on it from my ticket I sent in last night as well.
