Anyone else getting really bad lag?
I've pinged the server and it's going up to 70k+ms. Other servers or when a friend hosts it's fine but this server is killing me.
Just wondering if it's only me.
At least your server is playable...Still haven't been able to use mine since I purchased it yesterday afternoon.
My server is getting a huge lag and then it disconnects all players and server is unjoinable, after some time when I can join server with other players the server gets a rollback (around 20 min), happened already 3 times in short time distances, so right now there is no point playing on server like this.

Mines same 24 hrs not been able to play on huge lag get that top left icon flashing like a USB icon then kicks us and rolls back glad I only paid for 3 day test ....walks away from nitrado btw still waiting for ticket reply 16hrs later great support 👍
My server is not listed with the rest of the servers, I don't know why it happens.
who can help me with this problem?
Hi - please can we get some communication on what is happening with the servers so we can relay that to our players/members? I have two Valheim servers that cannot be used and people now moving away from my membership to play on or host their own servers. I acknowledge that this is a new game and there will be teething problems but radio silence on the issue and the steps you are taking to resolve it is really poor form. If we can't see any communication in the next 24 hours I will have to move to an alternate provider and certainly won't risk starting up my Eco server here.
Please -c an you keep us updated so we can update our playerbase as well?
Yesterday I rented a server and since then only laggs and a few minutes ago the server crashed.

This is not caused due to EarlyAccess Stage, this is caused because Nitrado failed at server setup.

I bought a Valheim server three days ago and it has been almost entirely unusable. Every 10-15mins it disconnects everyone, isn't discoverable for about 2-3mins and then comes back up.
I raised a ticket, got a response ignoring my specific questions but saying they could move to different hardware. Ok, lets do it. No response for a day. So I raised a follow up ticket, and got the exact same response ignoring my questions again... Now I am back in the spot of not receiving a response and I am paying for a service that isn't being delivered. It is really frustrating and I am trying to give them time, but being ignored and having my server time tick down does not sit right.
Not sure what else I can do, do they have a complaints procedure?
Pretty glad I found this thread, I am losing it. Had mine for three days now its unplayable, kicks everyone off every 10-15mins and is undiscoverable for about 2-3mins after that.
I havent been able to get a real non-generic response from support ticket for a few days, currently paying for nothing but stress.
Few friends are playing on a another host server with no issue which leads me to the conclusion its Nitrado end.
Game is in alpha state so you know......
That would be fair wisdom if the servers weren't running fine a few days ago - and mine in fact yesterday. This isn't a game related issue as other providers are running the game post update without issue.
Now - did you have anything helpful to add?

I have the same issue as OP; yes adding the server to the steam server list works well as a workaround to join the server; but that is not really the main issue - it should appear on the list of servers. Now I don't know if it's a Nitrado thing; or an actual bug with the game server code itself...

This doesnt work for any of my Valheim servers - not listed and get "nserver is not responding" when adding in Steam and finding games! Servers there - noone can access it

Has anyone figured anything out? Last night my server just continuously restarted and now as soon as I try to start the server it comes up, does a few restarts, and then it shuts down completely. I have uninstalled the game from the server and then reinstalled and I get the same results. I have installed the server over 20+ times so I don't believe it is a bad install, it just appears as if the server is missing something entirely that the game is requiring to activate.
I keep seeing this from the Live Server Console log and then afterwards it immediately starts the server reset process:
"Couldn't create a Convex Mesh from source mesh "RearBig" within the maximum polygons limit (256). The partial hull will be used. Consider simplifying your mesh."
Server was just stuck in restart mode last night.
Come today, it restarts - and appears online. I just cant find it on the ARK server lists.
It appears a lot of people are having this problem though, at least I'm not alone.

That's a good thing for a Valheim server I guess... but yeah same issue for me; mildly annoying at least we can direct connect to the server but it's rather unintuitive for some people.

Maybe for you. I can't direct connect on console.

EDIT: Can now see it but cannot connect because ...
Server stuck on restart. Tried to re-install it, did not help. Force start/stop also has no effect.
This is the second day after the purchase and problems never go away.
Sorry folks of the continued issues. Great job at helping each other. Some of the hints and tricks have been helpful for some.
(1) If this is a new server, try a reinstall.. (if you feel comfortable doing this).
(2) If all the above fails, please contact Nitrado Support to further investigate. Moderators have no access to servers or accounts. We are volunteers and able to share experiences just like the rest as this is a Community Support Forum for Gamers and Admins just like you and I.
