  • Good Evening Everyone,

    Quick question: we need to edit a single line of a .ini file for a mod but the current server admin has no clue how to do this... is anyone here able to shed some light on this?

    I can't seem to find anything about it in the forum threads.

  • You would go to the SteamWorkshop of the mod. If code exists the creator will advise.

    IE say you are using SuperStructures mod and need to increase the size of the storage.

    [SuperStructures]

    FridgeSlotCount=200

    LargeStorageSlotCount=200

    you would add that to the bottom if the gus.ini file. And make sure you have

    [/Script/ShooterGame.ShooterGameUserSettings] at the top of your ini.

    The ARK wiki and even the Tutorial section here explains this.

  • Thank you!

    I actually didn't realize that the GUS.ini file was actually the GameUserSettings file, and that it was shared between all mods. Thanks again!
