Import save

Dear forum members,
for some time now we have been creating and maintaining new ways to help game server admins with questions and problems as quickly as possible, e.g. our Guides section and the Nitrado Community Discord.

    With a friends we played on a loval server before. Now we take a nitrado serv but we don't know how we can put the save on the server.. Help us please :)

    Same issue here!


    I changed my serverconfig.xml with the right names of the folders e.g. the Gamename.

    My game starts but random and ignoring the savefiles. Pls help!!!

    Solved.


    Go to /7daystodie on your server an open serverconfig.xml.

    There are lines like this:



    <property name="GameWorld" value="PREGEN01"/>

    <property name="WorldGenSeed" value="asdf"/>

    <property name="WorldGenSize" value="8192"/>

    <property name="GameName" value="My Game"/>


    Just copy the name of your first folder under "/7daystodie/Saves" in the first line. The last line you have to insert the value of the folder under your savegame e.g. "/7daystodie/Saves/PREGEN01". You may change the size to matching your save and voila.


    This worked for me.
