Minecraft server

Dear forum members,
for some time now we have been creating and maintaining new ways to help game server admins with questions and problems as quickly as possible, e.g. our Guides section and the Nitrado Community Discord.

Therefore, we inform you that the Nitrado Forum will be closed on March 31, 2023. We are consolidating our community support to our Discord channel, which is faster and more efficient. We have also seen incredible growth in our community due to the hard work of our moderators and our bots. We are confident that this move will ensure that we provide the best support possible for our users.

Thank you to all members for your continued use of the forum!

Assistance with all questions concerning your Nitrado service can now be found in these spots:

  • Hello. I have just now created a Minecraft server. I try to enter it, find it but cannot connect, since the server runs on an older version. I do know that there have just been a server update, but will the server get up-to-date? And can i do anything to speed it up?

  • Hello xOnye,

    there are different possibilities:

    1) Nitrado updates the servers after a while.

    2) But you have the possibility to change your Minecraft version in the webinterface under "change version". (Then your server will not be updated automatically, but updating yourself is no problem.)

    3) You can go to "Profiles" in Minecraft Launcher, choose your Minecraft version or create a suitable profile. In this profile you can then click Download server. Then you go in the web interface to "change version" and there upload your received .jar. (Then your server will not be updated automatically, but updating yourself is no problem.)

    4) Spigot is a bit "complicated" but with the detailed instructions of Spigot this is not a problem either.

You follow the steps below and also get a .jar file. You upload these again under "Change version".

BuildTools | SpigotMC - High Performance Minecraft

(Then your server will not be updated automatically, but updating yourself is no problem.)

I hope I could answer your question to your satisfaction.

    With friendly greetings
