Friends cant find Server in server list

i created a cross-platform server for Epic and steam and i can get into the server no problem, but my friends cant even find the server on the list. is there something i did wrong? one is trying from epic and the other is using steam. i am using epic launcher.

i have the cross platform box checked and i dont use mods. i made a simple server name and put a password on it to try and help them find it. i also put there names as admins and put them on the whitelist, just to try everything i could. ive double checked all the setting and tried restarting and cutting off the server and cutting it back on. i still cant figure out why they cant find it.
